To improve a torque transmission device capable of transmitting high output of an internal combustion engine by less energy consumption and achieving simple and secure operation of a clutch having high transmission efficiency and a long period of durability.
Transmission input shafts 31, 42 are connected to a crank shaft 4 by friction clutches 27, 38, which have friction units 78, 79. Load can be applied in the axial direction along a rotary axial line 80 of the transmission input shafts 31, 42. The friction unit is formed by a plurality of friction partners having a layer structure, and load is applied toward a stopper by operation parts 44, 45 arranged in respective friction units. Operation devices 51, 52 connected to a casing part 58 at a fixed position so as to prevent relative turn and acting in each operation part in the axial direction by providing operation bearings 48, 49 together with operation parts of the friction clutches 27, 38 are arranged, and the friction clutches 27, 38 are driven by a wet type driving system.
