To provide a torque transmission device having a constitution different from the conventional constitution in the torque transmission device which transmits a torque from a driving side shaft to a driven side shaft.

The torque transmission device transmits a torque between a first and a second shafts by means of a magnetic circuit formed between both permanent magnets which are respectively attached to the first shaft (driving shaft) side to which the torque is applied and to the second shaft (driven shaft) side by which the torque is transmitted, wherein an N pole of the permanent magnet 141a of the side of the driving shaft and an S pole of the permanent magnet 143a of the side of the driven shaft side are opposed to each other, and the S pole of the permanent magnet 141a of the side of the driving shaft and the N pole of the permanent magnet 143a of the side of the driven shaft are opposed to each other.
