Abstract:
To achieve a structure which can prevent displacement of a torque sensor relative to an outer cylinder with the reduced number of parts.SOLUTION: A torque transmission device comprises: a stator shaft 8 which is an outer cylinder; an input shaft 2 which is a torque transmission shaft provided radially-inwardly of the stator shaft 8 so as to be able to rotate relatively to the stator shaft 8; and a torque sensor 3 which is configured to be cylindrical and is disposed between an inner peripheral surface of the stator shaft 8 and an outer peripheral surface of the input shaft 2 and which is for measuring torque transmitted by the input shaft 2. The stator shaft 8 has an engaged portion on the inner peripheral surface. The torque sensor 3 has a snap-fit piece 24 made of a synthetic resin at a location at which to fit the engaged portion and is held to the stator shaft 8 on the basis of engagement between the engaged portion and the snap-fit piece 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
