Abstract:

To provide a torque transmission mechanism for a vehicle capable of easily securing a sufficient twist angle between input/output members.

The torque transmission mechanism transmits torque between a first member 12 and a second member 14 which are relatively rotatable around a first shaft center. Then, the torque transmission mechanism includes: a first gear member 16 provided unrotatably with respect to the first member 12, and having an outer peripheral teeth around the first shaft center; a plurality of second gear members 18 disposed rotatably with respect to the second member 14 around second shaft centers parallel to the first shaft center, and having tooth rows engaged with the outer peripheral teeth of the first gear member 16; and a spring device 22 which energizes the second gear members 18 in such a manner that the rotational position when the transmission torque between the first member 12 and the second member 14 is minimum is maintained. By this configuration, the torque transmission mechanism has little structural restraint about space which the spring device 22 and the second gear members 18 need, so that a sufficient twist angle can be easily secured for the transmission torque.
