Title:
TORQUE TRANSMITTING JOINT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61173663
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a backlash and to increase a torque transmitting capacity by forming the opposed surfaces of a pair of magnets in a noncontact type torque transmitting joint in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The opposed surfaces of magnets 2a, 2b of drive and driven sides form a parallel gap. Accordingly, the line for connecting the opposed points of the magnets and the direction of the line of magnetic force are different from the conventional magnet of sector-section, and the entire area of the gaps coincides. Accordingly, the magnetic flux of the maximum density is obtained in the all area of the gap. Thus, the attracting force of the magnet increases, and a backlash decreases. Even if the magnets are small, the opposed surfaces are parallel. In many cases, square or rectangular section is provided, thereby readily working such as polishing.
