Abstract:
The invention provides a torsion beam type suspension structure, a torsion beam, and an automobile, thereby increasing durability of durability of a crushing tube-type trailing arm portion and improving torsion feature. The torsion beam type suspension structure is provided with a pair of trailing arm portions, which are separately arranged in the width direction of the automobile and a torsion beam portion, which is extended in the width direction of the automobile and is connected to the trailing arm portions. The torsion beam portion includes, in the width direction of the automobile, includes a center part and end parts and is formed from a tube in a flattened closed cross section structure in a manner of U-like shapes at least on the center part and the cross sections in the front andrear directions of the automobile. In the width direction of the automobile, the thickness of the tube at the center part is lower than that at the end parts.
