Abstract:
A torsion beam type suspension or the like is provided that includes a trailing arm which can naturally discharge rain water, dust, or the like, entering the trailing arm and having a hollow shape, tothe outside in a 1G state. The torsion beam suspension includes a trailing arm including a pair of right and left trays each having a hollow cross section, the torsion beam having one end and the other end fixed to the trailing arm, an opening communicating with a hollow portion and on one end of the trailing arm. The shape of the bottom surface of the trailing arm includes an inclined portion that descends from the other end toward the opening in the 1G state. The inclined portion functions as a path that guides the water entering the interior to the opening, and the opening serves as a drain hole that discharges the water in the trailing arm kick in.
