Abstract:
To cause a flexural fracture to hardly occur by increasing strength against a load input in a predetermined direction without causing an increase in cost and weight of a torsion beam and almost free from an impact on roll stiffness of a torsion beam.SOLUTION: An open part 12 formed so as to become a substantially V-shaped or substantially U-shaped closed section is provided between a right-side cross sectional gradual change part 10 and a left-side cross sectional gradual change part 11 in a torsion beam 1. The open part 12 has an open width in an intermediate part in a vehicle width direction which is set wider than an open width in both parts in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
