PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and economically solving a problem on poor stability of a torsional damping device which includes elastic members of a plurality of groups in a state of being arranged in series through phase adjustment members so that the elastic members deform in phase with one another and are centered.SOLUTION: A torsional damping device includes first movable elements 13 and 14 and second movable elements 15 and 16 coaxially rotatable around an axis X, a center hub rotatably coupled to the second movable elements 15 and 16, at least one group of elastic members 25 and 26 actuating against relative rotation of the first movable elements 13 and 14 and the second movable elements 15 and 16, phase adjustment members 32 and 33 constituted of two parts 32 and 33 for arranging the elastic members in the group in series so that the elastic members of each group deform in phase with one another, and a pendulum damper 48 rotationally connected with the phase adjustment members 32 and 33, so that the phase adjustment members are centered on the center hub by means of the pendulum damper 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
