Abstract:
To provide a torsional damper, capable of reducing torsional vibration in a rated range and an overspeed range in a straight-type six-cylinder engine.
This torsional damper for the straight-type six-cylinder engine is composed of a combination of a pendulum damper 1 which matches a rotational tertiary component, and a viscous damper 2. Accordingly, while suppressing rotational tertiary torsional vibration by the pendulum damper 1, other torsional vibration elements are suppressed by the viscous damper 2. Any torsional vibration in the overspeed region and also in the rated range can thereby be reduced efficiently.
