Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs and improve a quality in a torsional damper having hub for coupling a hub body made of a metallic plate press molding with a boss.SOLUTION: The torsional damper comprises: a hub 1 whose inside diameter part is mounted to a rotation shaft; an annular mass body 2 arranged concentrically to the hub 1; and an elastic body 3 for elastically coupling the hub 1 and the mass body 2. The hub 1 includes a press-molded hub body 10, and a cylindrical boss 20. A caulking part 11 formed on the inside diameter part of the hub body 10 is caulked at an inward projection edge 22 formed on one end inner periphery of the boss 20 while the inward projection edge 22 is gripped from an inner peripheral side and both axial sides.
