Abstract:
PURPOSE:To heighten a torsional vibration damping characteristic simply and at a low price by forming a plurality of slits peripherally on a circular plate member, the outer peripheral portion or the inner peripheral portion of which is coupled for operation to an output member or an input member to apply spring force in the rotating direction. CONSTITUTION:An output shaft 1 is spline coupled to a spline 12 mounted on the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical output member 2. The inner peripheral portion 5b of a circular plate member 5 coupled for operation to a fly wheel 4 on drive side is fastened through a revet 11 to a plate portion 3 projected on the outer periphery of the output member 2. A circular friction plate 9 is fixed to the outer peripheral portion 5a of the plate member 5 through a plurality of revets 12. In this arrangement, a plurality of slits 13 are formed peripherally on the plate member 5, and a plurality of substantially spiral spring portions are formed on the remaining portion of the plate member. Thus, the spring portions 14 are deformed by the frictional force produced at clamping to damp torsional vibration.
