Abstract:
PURPOSE: To securely guarantee the consistency between control information in a dictionary file and data present in the data base, file, and program by automating the update of the data base, file, and program based upon the update of the control information in the dictionary file.
CONSTITUTION: The dictionary file 1 performs centralized control over the data in the data base 3, file 4, and program 5 according to the control information having index information. A total control means 2 detects the data base 3, file 4, and program 5 relating the update of the control information in the dictionary file according to the index information in the control information when the control information is updated, and updates the detected data base 3, file 4, and program 4 so that the update of the control information is reflected.
