Abstract:
To provide a total enteral nutritious composition that can efficiently supply proteins, fats, sugars, vitamins, minerals and the like to those in need of nutritional supplementation, such as the elderly or inpatients.
The total enteral nutritious composition containing proteins, sugars, fats, minerals and vitamins has a copper content of no greater than 0.15 mg, and a zinc/copper weight ratio of 10-25, a sodium content of 185 mg or greater, a vitamin B1 content of at least 0.3 mg, and a vitamin B2 content of at least 0.25 mg, per 100 kcal of the composition.
