Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise to passengers in a vehicle without causing cooling capability to deteriorate.
SOLUTION: A totally-enclosed fan-cooled motor for vehicle does not have an air inlet port for taking in cooling air formed on the upper half of the motor without forming an air intake cover (16) on one end face of the motor, and the air intake cover (16) has an air intake port (16a) for taking cooling air into only the lower half of the motor.
