Abstract:

To provide a totally-enclosed motor that produces less fan noise and is easy to cool.

The totally-enclosed motor includes: a stator core 1; a rotor core 7 disposed inside the stator core 1; a first bearing 4 and a second bearing 5 placed at both ends of the stator core 1 through brackets 20, 21, 22; a rotor shaft 6 on which the rotor core 7 is installed and which is rotatably supported in the first and second bearings 4, 5; an air duct 17b formed on the periphery of the stator core 1; a heat exchanger 23 provided in the air duct 17b; an outside air inlet 20a provided in part of the bracket 20; and a ventilation fan 29 having an outer fan blade 29a provided on a fan main plate 29d fit on the rotor shaft 6.
