Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all-solid battery system which can decrease the internal resistance of an all-solid battery which uses an olivine type positive electrode active material as a positive electrode active material, and a sulfide solid electrolyte as a solid electrolyte, and which can increase the capacity of the battery.SOLUTION: An all-solid battery system according to the present invention comprises: all-solid battery having a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer and a negative electrode active material layer; and a controller for controlling a discharge lower limit potential of the positive electrode active material layer of the all-solid battery. Each or one of the positive electrode active material layer and the solid electrolyte layer has a sulfide solid electrolyte. The positive electrode active material layer has an olivine type positive electrode active material (LiMPO, where M=Fe, Mn, Co, Ni, and 0.5≤x≤1.5, 0.5≤y≤1.5, and 2≤z≤7). The negative electrode active material layer is smaller than the positive electrode active material layer in capacity. The controller controls the discharge lower limit potential of the positive electrode active material layer when the all-solid battery is in battery's normal use to fall in a range of 1.6-2.1 V (vs. Li/Li).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
