Abstract:
To provide a touch panel device that improves removal accuracy for erroneous detection due to electrostatic noise.SOLUTION: A touch panel device of the present invention includes a capacitive touch panel 110, and a controller 120 that performs touch detection. When an amount of decrease between a level of a sensing signal of a previous frame and a level of a sensing signal of a current frame is greater than or equal to a first threshold (S220), and an amount of expansion of a detection area based on the sensing signal of the previous frame and a detection area based on the sensing signal of the current frame is greater than or equal to a second threshold (S230), the controller 120 identifies the sensing signal as electrostatic noise and processes the sensing signal identified as electrostatic noise as an erroneous detection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
