PURPOSE: To attain the input of a touched part as a touch point without deteriorating the operability of a touch panel input device even in a state where a touch panel is touched with fingers by providing an input pen which generates the light in the conditions set previously, a touch panel main body, and a light receiving part.

CONSTITUTION: An input pen 1 is provided together with a touch panel main body 2, and plural light receiving panels 3. When the body 2 is touched by the pen 1 at a point, a fluorescent member 4 included in the body 2 emits the light with the infrared rays supplied from the pen 1. This (fluorescent) light is received by each panel 3 and a touched position is detected on the body 2. Thus a touched part can be inputted as a touch point without deteriorating the operability of a touch panel input device even in a state where the touch panel is touched with fingers.
