Abstract:

To provide a touch panel EL display device excellent in display quality with little glittering or decrease in the contrast due to reflection of external light.

The touch type EL display device (10) has a touch panel (2) which detects the input position by allowing electrodes (22, 23) disposed facing each other through a gap to be partially in contact with each other by pressing force and which is tightly adhered to the back side of an EL display panel (1) having flexibility. The display light by the EL display panel can be observed without being influenced by the touch panel, and signals can be inputted to the touch panel by bending the flexible EL display panel by pressing force. Since it is not required to make the touch panel as a see-through type, an opaque electrode excellent in formation efficiency, stability or the like can be used.
