To provide a touch type input device enabled to give a uniform operating feeling (a click feeling) in case whichever operating position is operated.

A vibration generating means 30 is arranged in opposition to an elastic member 3 so as to cover almost whole length thereof. Since a magnitude and a delay time of the vibration generated by the vibration generating means 30 transmitted to an operator can be made constant, a click feeling given the operator can be made uniform, whichever position on the elastic member 3 is operated.
