The sightseeing route generation device that generates a sightseeing route in accordance with a region to which a traveler visits includes a traveler information acquisition unit that acquires traveler information which is information on the traveler, a sightseeing information acquisition unit that acquires sightseeing information on the region, and a route generation unit that generates a sightseeing route including a visit place in the region based on the traveler information and the sightseeing information.
