Title:
TOWED SNOW PLOW FOR TURF SURFACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002309532
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a towed snow plow capable of effectively and efficiently removing snow piled up in a variety of sports grounds with turf surfaces, including golf courses, without damaging turf.

A plurality of equally spaced apart connecting ropes 4 of appropriate length are attached to an axial bar 2 of a certain length. Scraping plates 6 and support bars 7, both of which are long enough to be stretched between two of the connecting ropes 4, are alternately passed by the two connecting ropes 4 while being parallel to the axial bar 2 to form a first line. For second and subsequent lines, scraping plates 6 and support bars 7 arranged in plural lines are passed by the ropes in such a way that the second line alternates with the first line. Thereafter, only support bars 7 are similarly passed by the ropes alternately so that a raft-shaped body 1 having a plurality of space parts 10 in each part is formed on the axial bar 2. Towing ropes 14 with hangers 13 for connection to a towing truck are attached to the axial bar 2 to form the towed snow plow 1.
