Abstract:
To provide a towing hitch member whose mounting structure on rear side members is simplified.
When there is input from a towed vehicle to a hook portion 14 of a towing hitch 10, bending moment operates on side plates 18A, 18B with the deflection of a cross tube 16. However, in this case, bent portions 22 of the side plates 18A, 18B are deformed to suppress the operation of the bending moment on rear side members 28A, 28B. The mounting structure of the towing hitch member 10 on the rear side members 28A, 28B is therefore simplified to be lightweight.
