Title:
TOXIC HEAVY METAL COLLECTING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3919648
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toxic heavy metal collecting material for efficiently collecting a compound containing a toxic heavy metal such as hexavalent chromium, trivalent chromium, lead, cadmium, nickel, mercury, arsenic, and selenium.
SOLUTION: This toxic heavy metal collecting material contains unslaked lime and calcium aluminate. Since this toxic heavy metal collecting material has excellent dispersibility into the soil of high moisture content such as viscous soil, sludge, and soft ground containing the toxic heavy metal, fixes various toxic heavy metals including hexavalent chromium, restrains the fixed metals from being eluted from a solidified body and has excellent strength expressing property, this toxic heavy metal collecting material can be suitably used for the soil containing toxic heavy metals such as a chromium compound being waste from a plating factory or a stainless steel industry, cadmium in a Ni-Cd battery, and arsenic and selenium in a semiconductor industry.
