To automatically and amphibiously propel an amphibious toy vehicle by a single driving source by providing wheels for driving, a propeller for propelling and the driving source at a vehicle body so as to link-drive the wheels for driving and the propeller for propelling by the driving source.
In the case of playing by propelling an amphibious toy vehicle 1 on the ground, the wheels for driving 3 of the toy 1 are pushed out backward while being pushed onto a floor, etc., and thereby, the rotation of the wheels 3 is transmitted to a driving source 5 to wind up a driving force storing spring through a gear mechanism in the driving source 5. Thereafter, at the time of mounting the toy 1 on the floor and separating a hand from the toy 1, the wheels 3 are rotated in the advancing direction by the rewinding force of the driving force storing spring to automatically propel the toy forward. In the case, the rotation of an output shaft is transmitted also to a propeller for propelling by way of a driving gear 17 - an intermediate gear 18 - a crown gear 19 combined with it to rotate it. Thus, in the case of floating the toy 1 on water, the toy 1 is propelled by the thrust of the propeller 4.
