To provide an intellectual toy for conversation by using sensors to be stimulated by many ways.
A toy for conversation that is programmed to respond to mechanical stimulation has a main body 12 and an electric circuit 22 that is jointed to the main body and can be connected with a power source for supplying an electric current to the circuit. The electric circuit 22 includes sensors 24a to 25h that are disposed combining to the main body 12 and produce signals for responding mechanical stimulation to follow the nature and the strength of the stimulation, and signal recognizing/processing device that is connected with the sensors and processes the signals to produce commands. The sensors are extendable variable resistance structure formed from elastomer including a conductive material. When the electric circuit is connected with the power source, the mechanical stimulation of the sensors changes resistance value of the sensors to produce signals for raising a programmed response.
