The toy dog is provided with a substrate attached with wheels which can be braked, an upper body which is rotatably provided to the substrate with a prescribed shaft in a center, which can take a sitting position and a standing position and which takes the sitting position by prescribed biasing force in a normal form, a pulling rope hung around the neck part for making the upper body take the sitting position or the standing position according to the pulling direction, and a braking means for braking the wheels when the upper body is at the sitting position and releasing braking of the wheels when the upper body moves from the sitting position to the standing position.
