To provide an inexpensive toy (apparatus) for jumping power measurement with which jumping power of an infant is measured while the infant enjoys it with feeling of playing and a guardian does not have to spend preparing labor for jumping power measurement.
The jumping power measuring apparatus 100 consists of: a holding body 1 in the shape of a thin plate which has a groove part 7 formed in a height direction during use at its lateral part, which is in a shape of the thin plate longer in the direction of the groove part than in a direction vertical to the direction of the groove part (horizontal direction during use) and which has portable weight; a display panel 2 in the shape of a thin plate whose side part is slidably fitted to the groove part 7, which has divisions 12 formed with a plurality of division lines 11, division grooves, or the like, in the horizontal direction on a surface plate and which has respectively different displays in the plurality of the formed divisions 12; and a holding means which holds the display panel 2 in the case of positioning the display panel 2 at a fixed spot by mutually fitting and sliding the groove part 7 and the side part at the holding body 1.
