The equipment carries a driving wheel D and is provided with a pair of measuring rollers 10 which measure revolutions and a pair of subsidiary rollers 20 which are isolated from the measuring rollers 10 and have a prescribed relative physical relationship with the measuring rollers 10. The prescribed relative physical relationship is one where the contact point of the subsidiary rollers 20 with the driving wheel D gradually changes from the near end section 22 of the subsidiary rollers 20 to the far end section 23, and the height of the contact point is always higher than that of the contact point of the measuring roller 10 with the driving wheel D.
