To provide a track recording system in a motorboat race capable of accurately recording the development of the motorboat race at all times and saving the manpower of a referee job.

On respective motorboats 1-1 to 1-6 for performing the motorboat race, position detectors 2-1 to 2-6 and recorders 4-1 to 4-6 are loaded. The positions of the motorboats 1-1 to 1-6 are detected by the position detectors, the position data are supplied to the recorders 4-1-4-6 and recorded in portable recording media as track data. After the race is ended, by a sum-up processor 5 provided on a ground side, from the portable recording media corresponding to the respective motorboats 1-1 to 1-6 are read and the track data of all the motorboats 1-1 to 1-6 in the race summed up and recorded in a common recording medium.
