To suppress reduction in the directivity accuracy of a tracking apparatus loaded on a mobile object due to vibration.
The tracking apparatus is provided with a fixed frame 11 fixed on a platform 20 to support a body, a rotating frame 12 supported by the fixed frame 11, allowed to be rotated around a supported position to be a turning axis in one direction; an elevation/depression frame 14 connected to one end of the rotary frame 12 and allowed to rotate in a direction different from that of the rotating frame 12; a sensor 15 attached to the elevation/depression frame 14, in which the direction is determined by the turning angles of the first rotating frame 12 and the elevation/depression frame 14; a turning balance weight 13 formed on the end of the first rotary frame 12, which is installed opposite side to the elevation/depression frame 14 to hold the balance of the turning axis of the first rotating frame 12, an elevation/depression balance weight 16 formed on the elevation/depression frame 14 to hold rotation balance of the elevation/depression frame 14, and a damper 17 formed between the first rotating frame 12 and the turning balance weight 13.
