Abstract:
To provide a tracking device capable of accurately tracking a moving body such as a sports player.SOLUTION: Target feature point extraction means 14 extracts a feature point (a target feature point) of an image in a search frame of a target frame image FT in a moving image. Reference feature point acquisition means 12 acquires a recorded feature point (a reference feature point) regarding a reference frame FS in which a mobile frame has been already set and the feature point has been extracted. Correspondence forming means 16 determines similarity of surrounding pixels of each reference feature point with surrounding pixels of each target feature point to associate each reference feature point with each target feature point. Movement line calculation means 18 calculates a movement line connecting the corresponding reference feature point and the target feature point. The reference feature point is specified as a starting point and the target feature point as an end point. Movement calculation means 20 calculates a movement amount based on the movement line. Mobile frame setting means 26 moves the mobile frame of the reference frame based on the calculated movement amount and sets the mobile frame of a target frame.
