Abstract:
PURPOSE:To take a simulation test of the tracking of a continuous process line by generating false pulses corresponding to pulses echo generated by a hardware pulse generating device through software. CONSTITUTION:The timer 26 in an electronic computer 2 is used to find a counted value in a memory 25 which is increased at every time by the execution of a false pulse generating program 27 and false pulses are added; when the sum of false pulses is equal to or greater than the pulse value of pulse echoes generated from an external pulse echo generating device, a pulse echo processing program 21 is started. An application program 22 for the false pulse echoes is started by the execution of the program 21 to refer to information on tracking mode in the memory 25 and when it indicates simulation, the false pulse value in the memory or the pulse value of the hardware pulse generating device for online mode is rewritten into an optimum pulse count value for next echo generation.
