PURPOSE: To carry out the physical distribution which is conventionally performed by a track carriage, by a trackless carriage.
CONSTITUTION: Tires 13 for running on an ordinary road surface and side rollers 14 of which the grounding face is provided above the grounding face of the tires 13 are provided under a vehicle body 11. The tires 13 are protected by covers 18, and can support the side rollers so as to float them from the road surface 19. When slag is charged from a converter and the like into a slag ladle 12 loaded on the vehicle body 11, fragments apt to break down the tires 13 by high temperature such as slag or broken pieces of slag are laid scattered on the road surface. On such a road surface, the side rollers 14 are received with partial tracks so as to run the vehicle while floating up the tires 13, and after receiving slag in the slag ladle 12, the vehicle can run through the tires 13 on an ordinary road surface so as to carry slag to a slag disposal yard.
