Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a traveling toy to be driven quite a while and to have the traveling toy keep to travel for a prescribed period after disconnected from a power source, by having a current collector touching a conductive material and a charging power source used as a shock absorber in the traveling toy, and permanently connecting the power source and the current collector with an electric driving motor at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A conductive material 7 is arranged on a component 2 in the area of a track surface 8, connectors 16, 17 for an electric driving motor 12 are permanently connected to electric poles 14, 15 and an internal electrical power source 11, and a traveling toy 6 holds current collectors 18, 19 cooperating with the conductive material 7. The current collectors 18, 19 are permanently connected with the electric pole 14 or 15 of the power source 11. The internal electrical power source 11 is permanently charged from a feeding apparatus 10 through the conductive material 7 and the current collectors 18, 19. When the feeding apparatus 10 is connected with a commercial power source. a traveling toy 6 travels on a railway 1 as a traveling toy driven by the commercial power source, and the power source 11 working as a shock absorber is charged. When the feeding apparatus 10 is disconnected from the commercial power source, the traveling toy continues to travel on the railway 1 until the electric variable of the internal power source 11 becomes zero.
