To provide a traction bed system which has an extremely simple structure and allows a patient to easily get on and off a traction bed.

A pain of the left and right side mounting instruments 10 attached to the traction bed 1 has main body parts 11 mounted on the legs of the patient K and the arm parts 12 for connecting the main body parts 11 to the traction bed 1. The base end parts of the arm parts 12 are made movable around axial lines in an up and down direction to be connected to the almost intermediate part of the traction bed 1. The side mounting instruments 10 can selectively take the standby positions where the main body parts 11 are positioned on the lateral sides of the traction head 1 corresponding to the revolution around the axial lines in the up and down direction and use positions where the main body parts 11 are moved to an internal side in the width direction of the traction bed 1 from the standby positions. The intermediate parts of the arm parts 12 are set at a position sufficiently higher the upper surface 1b of the traction bed 1 and used as the handrails of the patient K who gets on and off the traction bed 1 at the time of the standby positions.
