PURPOSE: To surely keep off any driving slip of a wheel at all times just as being targeted as well as to eliminate a recurrence of this driving slip and an accelerating failure by performing throttle opening control for traction control on the basis of the setting time conformed to a vehicle's turning state.
CONSTITUTION: A vehicle drives a wheel B and travels by dint of motive power out of an engine A. In addition, it lowers engine power through a decrease of throttle opening by a throttle change means C conformed to the relative result between throttle opening at time of driving slip occurrence of the wheel B and another throttle opening before the specified time, thereby preventing any driving slip of the wheel B from occurring. Moreover, it raises the engine power by an increase of throttle opening at each setting time by the throttle change means C afterward convergence of the driving slip. In this case, a turning state of the vehicle is detected by a turning state detecting means D. Then, according to the detected turning state, the setting time is changed by a setting time change means E.
