Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase driving stability by monitoring whether the high-adhesion wheel slip is a prescribed limit value or above or not and whether the vehicle speed is within the prescribed upper and lower limit speeds or not, and reducing the brake pressure increasing traction at a low-adhesion wheel when a travel in a straight line is confirmed.

CONSTITUTION: Whether the high-adhesion wheel slip HS exceeds the prescribed slip limit value HSG specified based on the reference wheel speed which is the average wheel speed of driven wheels and the vehicle speed is within the upper and lower limit speeds or not during the travel of a vehicle is judged 1. If the judgment is YES, whether the vehicle is traveling around a curve or not is judged 2. If a travel in a straight line is confirmed, whether the vehicle speed is reduced to the lower limit speed of 15 km/h or below or not is judged 4. If the judgment is YES, travel stability control in the straight line travel is applied, and the brake pressure at the low-adhesive wheel is reduced to increase traction, thereby the drive torque of the high-adhesive wheel is reduced, and the side force of the high-adhesive wheel is generated.
