Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction dolly apparatus which prevents a vehicle tire from being caught by a guide rail after the vehicle collides against a collision wall face at a test time, when the vehicle is made to collide against the collision wall face while being travelled along the guide rail.
SOLUTION: The guide rail 6 is arranged inside a pit P, so that guide rollers 30a and 30c of a traction dolly 1 are positioned to under a floor face. A hook 11 for connecting the vehicle to be tested through a wire W and a stopper 12 for preventing the wire W from being dislocated from the hook 11 are set to lie down when the traction dolly 1 travels by inertia and a lever 13 collides against a block 13 not illustrated to rotate in the clockwise direction. Since the stopper 12 and guide rollers 30a and 30c are not exposed to the floor face, the vehicle can be tested without being obstructed.
