Abstract:
To prevent scratches on a rolling face of an elastic ring to prevent damage of the elastic ring.
This traction drive 1 is provided with a plurality of planetary rollers 7 arranged adjacent to the outer peripheral face of a sun roller 5 and with the elastic ring 9 arranged adjacent to the planetary rollers 7 and including the respective planetary rollers 7 while pressing them. The rolling face 11 of the elastic ring 9 contacting with the planetary roller 7 is coated with diamond-like carbon 11'.
