Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of an underrun protector in a tow hook mounting structure with a mounting member welded to the underrun protector.SOLUTION: A tow hook for towing a movable body is mounted to an underrun protector of a vehicle through a mounting member. The mounting member is provided with a first surface to which the tow hook is attached, and a second surface 32 and a third surface 33 opposite to each other with the first surface interposed therebetween. The second surface 32 is welded to the underrun protector at two first welding portions 1, 1. Further, the third surface 33 is welded to the underrun protector at one second welding portion 2 including a portion not overlapping with any of the two first welded portions 1, 1 in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
