To provide a traction performance evaluation system capable of correctly evaluating the traction performance of a vehicle, and a four-wheel-drive vehicle.SOLUTION: A traction performance evaluation system 100 includes external information acquisition means 311 for acquiring external information on a disturbance factor which gives influence on a condition of a road surface on which an own vehicle 1 travels, slip rate calculation means 313 for calculating a slip rate of a tire on the basis of travel information indicating a travel state of the vehicle, and traction performance evaluation means 623 for evaluating the traction performance of the vehicle on the basis of a reference slip rate corresponding to the external information and the slip rate calculated by the slip rate calculation means 313.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
