Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record comprehensive traffic environment information with complementation of information from other than a party concerned in the occurrence of an accident or a dangerous situation leading to the accident.SOLUTION: When danger is detected in own vehicle or in a traffic environment outside own vehicle, an environment recognition processing unit 3 transmits a first trigger signal requesting recording and storing of images by other than own vehicle outside own vehicle through a communication unit 4. Furthermore, when a second trigger signal requesting recording or storing of the image imaged by own vehicle is received from outside own vehicle through the communication unit 4, the environment information processing unit 3 records and stores the traffic environment information including at least images imaged by an imaging unit 2 to a storage device 3a. Thus, in the accident or in the dangerous situation leading to the accident, comprehensive traffic environment information generated by complementing information from view points other than the party concerned can be recorded.
