To solve a problem that the traffic information provided by a conventional road traffic information system is lack of real time characteristic, so that a user can not be surely prevented from being caught by traffic jam.
In this traffic information providing system, the traveling information is transmitted to a traffic information center 30 from traveling information providing devices 20 installed on a plurality of vehicles, and the traffic information is prepared based on the traveling information to provide the traffic information to the user in real time.
