PURPOSE: To reversely roll a vehicle body during turning without giving uneasy feeling to occupants, insure sufficient stroke in case of bound of a wheel in the same phase, and prevent excessive bending load to be applied on links.

CONSTITUTION: The suspension is provided with an axle beam 12, a pair of trailing links, a pair of cranks 24L, 24R, a pair of lateral links 18L, 18R of same length, and a connecting link 30. By viewing in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, the distance between pivotal points O1R and O3R is equal to the distance between O1L and O3L, the distance between pivotal points O1R and O4R is equal to the distance between O1L and O4L, an angle O1R-O3R-O2R is equal to an angle O1L-O3L-O2L, an angle O1R-O4R-O4L is equal to an angle O1L-O4L-O4R, and the point O of intersection of the straight line connecting together pivotal points O2R and O3R and the straight line connecting together O2L and O3L is positioned above the center of gravity of the vehicle body.
