Abstract:

To precisely detect, from a train, the passing of the train through a driving point of a train control signal and the position of the train.

A transmitter 3 connected to an advancing end of the train 1 of each of territories 1T to 4T dividing a rail 2 into a plurality of the territories transmits to the rail a train detecting signal superimposing a diffusion signal for train detection modulated by carrier wave frequency and a diffusion code set for each of the territories and a diffusion signal for information transmission modulating ground information having carrier wave frequency of the forward territory in the advancing direction of the train, a diffusion code classification and a kilo distance of a boundary between the territories by the same carrier wave frequency as the diffusion signal for train detection. An on-train device 6 receives the train detection signal transmitted to the rail 2, detects that the train reaches the territory boundary by the diffusion signal for train detection and detects a travelling position of the train 1 by corresponding it to a change of length of the territory by the pulse number output from a tachometer generator 8 in detecting the kilo distance and the territory boundary included in the diffusion signal for information transmission.
