Abstract:
To provide a train control system for precise control of stopping in a designated position.
Based on the detected train speed, a train position, a brake command, a brake characteristic model, and a model parameter, a brake command for stopping a train in a designated position is determined. The train control system controls braking in such a brake pattern that train speed is sufficiently decreased during the first half period of deceleration.
