To provide a train operation managing system capable of confirming where a command man is at any time from a command place, calling him via a telephone or broadcast at once in case of an emergency, and if necessary, taking a correct countermeasure for an emergence case even from elsewhere other than the command place.

The train operation managing system is composed of an input device 9 for entering an ID number of the command man for managing the operation of a train 8 while it is positioned where the command man is, a transmitting device 4 to transmit the ID number, a command-man pursuing device 5 to identify the ID number information of the command man entered from the ID number, an automatic track-control device 7 for incorporating a train diagram and to control a train track by pursuing the train on the basis of the train diagram, and a display control device 2 which receives the output of the track-control device 7 and command-man pursuing device, displays on- railtrain information based on the result of train pursuit, sets the track of the train, and displays place information where the command man is.
