This train route control system is provided with a train information detection means 20 for detecting positions and speed of trains 1, 2; a train running prediction means 20 for calculating passing time in a competitive track circuit and route control expected time based on the positions and speed of trains 1, 2; a route control determination means 3 for determining route control time based on the passing time in the competitive track circuit and the route control expected time; and route control means 3, 10 for controlling signals 11, 12 and switches 13, 14, 15 in the competitive track circuit based on the route control time.
